In the Outer Hebrides (HS) postcode area, 153 models had 100 or more initial MOT tests (first attempts) in 2019–2024 (73,910 tests). The Toyota Corolla fails most above its own rate elsewhere in Britain: 43.2% here against 33.4% (+9.8 points, 95% interval +1.3 to +18.3; a rough estimate from 132 tests here). The Peugeot Partner does best against its own rate (−12.2 points). Rates are not age-adjusted: the age of each model's cars can differ between areas.
