Which Chevrolet models fail their MOT less for their age?
In 2024, 62.3% of MOTs on the 11 Chevrolet models published here passed (53.8% first time, 8.5% after a fix at the test centre), from 55,347 first tests. Allowing for age (not mileage), these Chevrolet models fail 21% more often than normal: brand MOT Risk Index 120.6 (95% CI 119.5–121.7; 100 = normal).
Among Chevrolet models with at least 10,000 first tests, the Chevrolet Matiz (almost all tested at 15 years or older) has the lowest index (117.5) and the Chevrolet Spark the highest (122.7). On raw pass rates, the Chevrolet Spark comes first instead, because the models' fleets differ in age.
