In 2024, 87.7% of MOTs on the 11 Lexus models published here passed (83.4% first time, 4.4% after a fix at the test centre), from 165,793 first tests. Allowing for age (not mileage), these Lexus models fail 40% less often than normal: brand MOT Risk Index 59.8 (95% CI 59.1–60.4; 100 = normal).
Among Lexus models with at least 10,000 first tests, the Lexus UX has the lowest index (46.3) and the Lexus IS the highest (65.1, still better than normal).
