Which Mazda models fail their MOT less for their age?
In 2024, 77.1% of MOTs on the 20 Mazda models published here passed (72.3% first time, 4.7% after a fix at the test centre), from 531,603 first tests. Allowing for age (not mileage), these Mazda models fail 6% less often than normal: brand MOT Risk Index 94.3 (95% CI 93.9–94.7; 100 = normal).
Among Mazda models with at least 10,000 first tests, the Mazda CX-30 has the lowest index (66.0) and the Mazda Bongo the highest (123.3).

Of the 20 Mazda models, 8 fail less often than normal for their age, 7 more often, and 5 cannot be told apart from normal because their 95% intervals include 100.
